SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 17 points and UCLA raced out to a fast start and never looked back in a 86-53 victory over UNC Asheville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday night. The second-seeded Bruins (30-5) scored the first 14 points of the game and rolled from there. Amari Bailey also scored 17 points and David Singleton had 11.UCLA advanced to play seventh-seeded Northwestern in the second round of the West Region. (KDVR) — Matthew Jamison purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado at an impound lot in order to find a good deal. "The car was inoperable. So it had engine problems and I am a mechanic, so I installed the engine," he said. Jamison registered the truck and the title but got a surprise several months later. A tow company repossessed the truck late at night. Jamison contacted the police. “I thought, is my truck stolen?” he said. ‘Just cause’ eviction bill passes Colorado House The repossession was ordered by an Indiana-based finance company that had paperwork showing the truck had a lien from a previous owner, but it was a mistake. “They weren’t going to notify me, you know. DENVER (KDVR) — College basketball fans from across the country will be focused on Denver Friday when Ball Arena will host four games in the first round of the men's NCAA tournament. Eight teams will play on Friday. The remaining four will play again Sunday. Former doctor sentenced to 17 years for sexually assaulting unconscious patients

SAN DIEGO -- Former doctor Leng Ky was sentenced to 17 years in state prison for sexually assaulting four patients while they were under anesthesia at his private pain management clinic in Escondido.The 43-year-old anesthesiologist pleaded guilty in January to three counts of sexually assaulting an unconscious victim and one count of sexual battery by restraint.The allegations came to light in 2020 when one patient reported she believed Ky had sexually assaulted her during an appointment with him. The victim reported it to Escondido police and throughout their investigation, three more victims came forward.The four victims had all gone to see Dr. Ky to treat chronic pain.
