RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — Over three dozen Palestinian prisoners returned to a hero’s welcome in the West Bank on Sunday after being released by Israel in a cease-fire deal with Hamas.The 39 young men, wearing gray prison garb, were welcomed by several hundred well-wishers in central Ramallah. The crowd hoisted the men on their shoulders. Many waved victory signs and held green Hamas flags.The release came hours after Hamas released 17 hostages it had been holding in the Gaza Strip. GLEN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Sharon Springs man has been arrested following a rollover crash, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Liam O'Connor, 39, is facing multiple charges. On November 21 at 3:37 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Reynolds Road and State Highway 30A in Glen for the report of a one-car rollover crash. Upon arrival, officers located O'Connor and his two children, ages 4 and 7. All three were transported to local hospitals to be evaluated and were later released. During the preliminary investigation, police determined that O'Connor was intoxicated at the time of the crash. SELKIRK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Bethlehem Police Department announced on Sunday that Richard Ryther, 71, who had been reported missing out of Selkirk, has been found dead. Police say Ryther's death does not appear suspicious. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Police located Ryther's body on November 26 in a wooded area near 822 River Road in Glenmont. He had last been seen near his home on River Road around 2 p.m. on Friday. St. Louis resident found dead in fatal house fire

PATCH, Mo – A St. Louis resident was discovered deceased in a house fire in the 7900 block of Water. The victim remains unidentified.On November 25, at 8:30 a.m., St. Louis officers responded to a house fire after a request from the Fire Department. The victim was found inside the structure by firefighters. The Bomb and Arson Unit responded and has since taken charge of the ongoing investigation.

Altercation led to man being pepper-sprayed in front of Concord restaurant

(KRON) – The Concord Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred outside of a restaurant on Saturday. A man and a woman got into an altercation with another man at Yard House in the Veranda Shopping Center on Nov. 25. The altercation led to the woman pepper-spraying a man in front of the restaurant.  Arrest led to suspect kicking officer in the face in San Rafael The incident occurred right outside the restaurant's doors and people inside the restaurant were still exposed, according to Concord PD. Restaurant patrons and employees were treated at the scene. According to police, the suspects drove away.Concord PD is currently reviewing footage and cell phone video to identify the suspects. 

Pinole PD arrest driver in possession of loaded semi-automatic pistol and marijuana

(KRON) – The Pinole Police Department arrested one person in possession of a gun, cash, and for-sale marijuana on Saturday.  5-year-old girl who was swept out to sea in Half Moon Bay rescued Pinole officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Highway 80 on Nov. 25. According to police, during a search of the vehicle, officers found a loaded semi-automatic pistol under the front passenger seat with a fully loaded extended magazine.The officers say they also found cash and marijuana. The marijuana was determined to be for sale, police said. The driver was booked into jail. The vehicle was towed.
