CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was unchanged at $6.7725 a bushel; May corn gained 2.75 cents at $6.48 a bushel; May oats was up 3 cents at $3.3975 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 1 cent at 14.9650 a bushel.Beef mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.Apr. live cattle gained .53 cent at $1.7120 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle lost .08 cent at $2.0012 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was off .02 cent at $.7365 a pound.Source

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia (AP) — Slovenia’s emergency mountain teams on Monday rescued four French citizens who were stuck in bad weather in the Alps, the rescue service said. The operation on the Skuta mountain came a day after dozens of emergency workers used helicopters to rescue another five people swept away by an avalanche in an Alpine region further north. They were part of a group of seven people attending a mountaineering course when the avalanche hit. Three people were seriously injured.The French citizens brought down from the Skuta mountain on Monday were unharmed, said Katarina Janjic from the Mountain Rescue Association of Slovenia.The group had stayed overnight in a mountain shelter because they lacked proper equipment to descend, she told the official STA news agency.Slovenia’s rescue service has urged mountaineers to avoid climbing in bad weather. DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a deadly fight in the Five Points neighborhood.Officers with the Denver Police Department were called to a fight Sunday morning in the 1100 block of 32nd Street. DPD located one victim who was sent to a local hospital. At that time, police did not know the extent of the victim's injuries. Man sentenced for sexually assaulting girlfriend’s daughter On Monday morning, DPD confirmed the victim in the fight was pronounced dead. This case is now being investigated as a homicide. BREVARD COUNTY, Florida (WESH) — Two nurse assistants have been arrested in Brevard County for allegedly abusing a resident at a senior care facility.According to an affidavit, 20-year-old Shy’Tiona Bishop and 18-year-old Jada Harris live-streamed a video of a resident with dementia on April 3.During the live stream, Harris allegedly said the victim was “acting like she’s psycho” and called her “embarrassing.”The affidavit said while the resident was in their care, Bishop and Harris repeatedly laughed at her and prevented her from getting into the bathroom.A staff member at Market Street Memory Care noticed the resident seemed distressed the day after the video. Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was shot in Mattapan on Sunday night.
